Michelle Moore

Michelle is the L&G Group Strategy and Investor Relations Director, she works with the Group Board and Executive to develop and articulate the Group strategy as well as having oversight of the investor relations function, where she is responsible for clearly communicating the Group’s strategy, business performance and investment case to the market. Michelle assumed this role at the beginning of 2025. Prior to Michelle taking on this role she held the position as Commercial Director of Retail Annuities and Workplace Savings, Michelle served in that role for two years, focusing on pricing strategy, underwriting philosophy and commercial activity.

Michelle joined L&G in 2015 and has held various roles across the business before moving into the Commercial Director position, including leading the Group Planning and Forecasting function. Other roles included supporting key transformation projects, providing actuarial oversight across L&G’s various insurance businesses and Group oversight of the development of the Group Solvency Capital Model. Michelle’s time with L&G builds on over 10 years of financial services experience, including a range of Actuarial and Finance roles at Old Mutual and AXA UK.

Michelle is a member of the Boards of both Legal & General Reinsurance Company No.2 Limited and Legal & General Finance Plc.

Michelle’s married with two children aged 6 and 3. She enjoys the outdoors and keeps active, with running being her preferred mode of getting from A to B!
